La Peluquería
Fui a la peluquería a cortarme el pelo el sábado pasado. Yo sólo quería córtamelo un poco pero cuando llegué la peluquera me dijo que debía cambiar un poco mi estilo.
“Porque no te tiñes el pelo, ese rubio oscuro no te sienta bien y estaras mucho mejor con algunas mechas oscuras, también debería cortarte un poco el flequillo”.
Siempre he sido bastante lanzada con el pelo, he tenido pelo corto y largo, rizado y liso, he sido rubia y morena, hasta he sido pelirroja. Una vez más dejé que ella decidiera.
Mi hijo por su parte quería hacerse rastas, no tenía ninguna duda así que se sentó allí y después de cuatro horas había cambiado su aspecto tanto como el día que decidió afeitarse la cabeza y ser calvo durante un tiempo.
Definitivamente no parecíamos los mismos cuando salimos pero esa era la idea, cambiar un poco.
The Hairdresser
I went to the hairdresser to get a haircut last Saturday. I only wanted to have my hair cut but the hairdresser told me I should change my appearance a bit.
“why don’t you dye your hair, that dark blond doesn’t suit you and you would look much better with some highlights, you should also change your fringe”.
I’ve always been quite adventurous with my hair, I have had my hair short and long, curly and straight, I’ve been blonde and brunette and even redhead. So, once again I allowed her to decide.
My son, on the other hand, wanted to get dreadlocks, he had no doubts so he sat there and after four hours he had changed as much as the day he decided to shave his head and be bald for some time.
Definitely we didn’t look the same but that was the idea, to change a little.
