Podcast 108. Feng Shui (Escuchar/ Listen)

Feng Shui at home and in the office

How is the ideal office, the ideal house? one with plants? one with a lot of windows? one on the first floor or on the 70th floor?.
The answer to all these questions lies with Feng Shui.

Feng Shui is the combination of positive energy and balance, this combinatio is called “Qi”.

Most of the basic Feng Shui rules are based on common sense. For example people who believe in Feng Shui say that simplifying space helps focus better and if you can focus on a task you work better and get more results.
Get rid of clutter the air will flow better and you will have more space to move around, you will feel more creative and free and you will work better.

It sounds quite logical, doesn’t it?. However others are more weird, for example the idea that a curved desk promotes more creativity than a square desk or to have your back to the door or to work or sleep in a room with one door on each side of the room, the two doors allow the Qi to get in and out quickly from the room.

Feng Shui has also its critics, some people can’t understand how moving objects around in a room can create harmony and balance, they also say that the method is not consistent. Whether we agree or disagree with Feng Shui we have to admit that its basic principles could make you more comfortable.
