Podcast 111. Mi Hotel Favorito (escuchar/ Listen)
Cierra los ojos un momento y piensa ¿Cómo es el hotel de tus sueños? ¿Con candelabros? ¿Enormes camas con montones de almohadas? ¿Baño con jacuzzy? ¿Vistas desde el balcón de esas que cortan la respiración?
Yo tengo un hotel especial, un recuerdo especial y ese hotel está en Lisboa. Es uno de esos lugares inolvidables donde no echas de menos nada en absoluto. Una habitación enorme con una cama inmensa y comodísima con cuatro almohadas bien mullidas. Un gran cuarto de baño con todo lo que puedas necesitar hasta un kit para limpiar zapatos, además de algodón, crema, gel y esas maravillosas toallas. ¿Por qué las toallas de los hoteles son siempre tan esponjosas, tan suaves y tan blancas? Algún secreto tendrán para mantenerlas así.
El desayuno inmejorable, café, te, tostadas, magdalenas, diferentes tipos de pan, cereales, fruta fresca, yogurt, huevos... una verdadera exposición de todo lo que puede apetecerte a esas horas y más.
Todo es perfecto y el precio razonable, es caro pero no de los que te cobran un riñón por una noche. Así que si vas a Lisboa y tienes oportunidad reservar una noche en el hotel “Sofitel” , me darás la razón y quizá se convierta en tu hotel favorito.
He leído que existe un hotel de hielo en Suecia, sólo abre en invierno, el hielo se derrite en primavera y se reconstruye cada invierno, cuenta con un “bar de hielo” sauna, spa, cine, exposiciones de objetos hechos de hielo, etc.
No estaría nada mal poder dormir una noche, en un hotel de hielo.. Solo una, debe hacer un frío que pela y yo soy muy friolera.

I have a special hotel, a special memory and that hotel is in Lisbon. It’s one of those unforgettable places where you don’t lack for anything, a large room with a huge comfortable king-sized bed with four super-soft pillows. A large bathroom with everything you could need, even a shoe polish kit, besides cotton balls, creams, gels and those wonderful towels. Why are towels in hotels always so thick, so soft and so white ? There must be some secret to keep them that way.
The breakfasts are unbeatable, coffee, tea, toast, muffins, different kinds of bread, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, eggs... A real exhibition of everything you mightfeeI like for breakfast and more
Everything is just perfect and the price is reasonable, it’s expensive but not one of those places that charge an arm and a leg. So, if you ever go to Lisbon and you have the chance ,book a night at the “Sofitel” you’ll agree with me and maybe it will become your favourite hotel too.
I’ve read that there is a hotel made entirely of ice somewhere in Sweden, it’s only open during the winter months, because the ice starts to melt in the spring time and so the hotel has to be rebuilt each winter, there is an ice bar, sauna, spa, cinema, ice art displays , etc.
It would be nice to spend a night in an "ice" hotel like that... Just one, though, because it must be cold as hell and I'm one of those people sensitive to the cold.
